Thank you to all 892 people who completed the survey. I am working with a university educator writing the study to submit it to an Education Journal for publication. I will post updates and more information as it is available.
Since publishing the book titled "Who's the Slow Learner? A Chronicle of Inclusion and Exclusion" I have been inundated with stories from parents who are still struggling to educate their school districts how to successfully fully include their children with Intellectual Disabilities in regular education classrooms. Please take the survey:
Once at least 1,000 responses have been collected I am going to provide the outcomes to Advocacy Groups, the U.S. Department of Education, Legislators and am going to work to see if I can gain the attention of the ACLU to add discrimination against students with intellectual disabilities as a speed dial issue for them to represent our children as readily as they do other minority groups.
